Air Cushion (A/C) Certification
Air cushions have become an important part of quick highway clearance. WreckMaster’s two-day Air Cushion Certification course will give you the knowledge and confidence to perform upright loaded trailers efficiently and safely.
Our instructors will show you proper handling and installation of the cushions as well as all of the equipment needed to perform a successful air cushion recovery. You’ll get to upright a loaded van body trailer and a loaded tanker, all to gain an appreciation for how each style of trailer responds to air cushions.
Thanks to our working relationship with MatJack, we’ve been provided with a set of air cushions for our training, including high pressure, low pressure and starter bags.
“The best hands-on training with the newest equipment and techniques.”
– Mike Cosby, AutoNation Chevrolet
Owners and operators who want to gain greater proficiency in uprighting loaded vehicles and improve their highway clearance times are well-suited for the Air Cushion Certification program.
The only pre-requisite for this course is a state- or provincially-issued driver’s licence. Because we build on the skills taught in the WreckMaster program, students may find it beneficial to have previously attended a WreckMaster training course (minimum Level 2/3), but this isn’t required.
“Priceless knowledge I use often on the job.”
– Rob Hersom, Ace Tire
